In addition to algorithms, photos or drawings often serve as inspiration for the design of patterns. Thus, in the nude drawing course, a series of hairstyles were created which can later be found in a repeat as "combs". The pattern was finally realized on a Jaquard loom in Haslach as a robust double weave.
But photos are also made repeatable and reinterpreted in the fabric. In this way, a foamy, watery photo motif can regain a three-dimensionality on the fabric. In addition to the material selection, the focus is on a combination of weaves for the double weave with an elastic filling weft.
